Facing Risk

This Pulitzer Center production explores the risks associated with reporting and the conversations journalists owe their loved ones and editors back home. Journalists David Rohde and Michael Scott Moore discuss their own experiences with their families and Diane Foley speaks about the conversations she wishes she had had with her son James Foley. Journalists are encouraged to talk to editors about the risks associated with their reporting and to leave essential information behind with their families. The subjects in this film explore the conversations they wish they had started before they left on assignment.
